Sixty seconds, plain words. What this is, what it isn’t, and the shortest path to finding where you stand.
What the Great Wheel is
The Great Wheel is a map of ten inner states — called Realms — that people tend to pass through in the course of an ordinary life. It describes how perception sharpens or dulls, how identity forms and loosens, and how people get stuck and unstuck. It is grounded in recognition and everyday observation, and it is meant to be walked, not worshipped.
What it isn’t
- Not therapy, diagnosis, or clinical advice of any kind.
- Not a religion, a dogma, or a guru system — no leaders, no signup, no fees.
- Not a personality test that boxes you in. The Wheel describes movement, not types.
If any of it rings true, keep it. If it doesn’t, set it down. That’s the whole method.
Your path in three steps
- Look at the Realms. The ten states, one line each — see which description feels uncomfortably accurate.
- Take the quiz. Two minutes, and it places you on the Wheel with a page of reading tailored to where you are.
- Walk. Read Realm I and The Traveler, then follow the prev/next links at the bottom of each Realm page.
The words, in one line each
- Realms
- The ten inner states, Origin to Return.
- Gates
- The ten passages between Realms.
- Remnants
- The 50 counterfeits — near-misses that wear a Realm’s face.
- Keys
- Recognitions, not tools — what unlocks a Gate.
- Thresholds
- The pause between breaths — how change actually happens.
- Bridges
- How the Realms connect — descent and ascent.
- The Traveler
- You, walking the Wheel in ordinary life.
